- Who is OnTote for?
- Companies that rent out reusable totes (moving companies, event rentals, waste haulers, reusable packaging services) and want to know where their totes are and get paid for them. It's for the company doing the renting, not the customer renting from them.
- How much does OnTote cost?
- Starter: $49/mo, including 10 online orders a month, then $8 per extra order. Growth: $159/mo, including 30 online orders a month, then $4 per extra order. Custom: from $399/mo, with a negotiated allowance. Yearly billing is 10 times the monthly price, so 2 months free. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
- What do card payments cost?
- Payments: 3.4% + 30¢ per booking on Starter and Growth, Stripe's processing fee included. Nothing is added to what your customer pays. There is no separate Stripe bill. Custom plans agree a rate per deal.
- What counts as an online order?
- Any order placed on your storefront, paid by card or pay-later. Orders you enter yourself or import don't count. An order is counted once, when it is first paid, and a refund doesn't give it back.
- What happens past my plan's allowance?
- You keep taking every order. Extra orders are billed after your monthly period, on a separate invoice.
- Can I pay yearly?
- Yes. Yearly billing is 10 times the monthly price, so you get 2 months free. Monthly is always available too.
- How does the free trial work?
- Every new workspace gets 14 days free, with no card required. Orders taken during the trial don't count toward your allowance.
- Does OnTote charge for extra users?
- No. Starter includes 1 operator seat; every other plan includes unlimited operator seats at no additional cost.
- Can I migrate from spreadsheets?
- Yes. Onboarding includes pool configuration and seed data import guidance on every plan.
