Use the fulfillment report

See how many totes of each pool go out and come back each day, split by delivery and pickup, so you can plan staging and pickups ahead.

When you plan tomorrow, the question is never "how many bookings do we have." It is "how many totes go out, how many come back, and which of each need a truck." The fulfillment report answers exactly that.

Open Reports → Fulfillment. Each row is one tote pool on one day. The columns are:

  • Out delivery, Out pickup, Out unspecified, Out: units leaving on their start date.
  • Back delivery, Back pickup, Back unspecified, Back: units returning on their end date.
  • Tentative out, Tentative back: units on holds, kept separate on purpose. A hold is a promise, not a booking, and it is never counted inside Out or Back.

Unspecified means the reservation has no fulfillment method set. If most of a row is unspecified, that is a data-entry flag, not a planning gap: go set the method on those orders.

Pick your window

The report looks forward, which is the point. Choose Next 7 days (the default), Next 14 days, Next 28 days, or a custom range up to 90 days. The other Reports tabs look backward; switching tabs switches the date presets back.

Days with no movement do not show in the table, so the page stays short. They do show in the CSV: Export CSV includes every day and every active pool in the window, quiet days as zeros.

Read it like a dispatcher

1. Scan the day totals across the top rows. A big Out delivery number on Friday means trucks, drivers, and staged totes on Thursday.

2. Compare Back against the next day's Out. Totes that come back Friday can usually go out again Monday, so a heavy back-day followed by a heavy out-day needs sorting and cleaning in between, not more inventory.

3. Watch Tentative out. A tentful of holds on a Saturday is a phone call away from a shortage if they all confirm. If a day is both heavy out and heavy tentative, that is the week you do not promise anyone "we probably have enough."

Click the arrow beside any pool name to expand it. You get the actual reservations behind the number: Reservation, Customer, Direction (Out or Back), Method, Status, Qty, and Units, which lists the specific tote codes already assigned, if any.

What the numbers include

  • Out counts confirmed bookings starting that day. Back counts confirmed and active bookings ending that day. A same-day turnaround (out in the morning, back in the afternoon) counts on both sides.
  • Drafts, quotes, and cancelled orders are never counted.
  • The report anchors on each order's start and end dates. Delivery and pickup windows do not move the numbers. If a window runs late into the next day, the count still sits on the end date.
  • If you run multiple locations, filter the report to one location for a per-warehouse view; the default rolls every location together.

If it looks wrong

  • "Nothing goes out or comes back in this window." The empty state is normal when nothing is booked. Widen the range, or check that the location filter is not hiding the location that holds the bookings.
  • A day you expected is missing a row. Only days with movement show in the table. Check the CSV, which lists every day.
  • Back looks too big for the totes you actually have. Back counts every unit scheduled to return, including units on orders that may come back late or damaged. It is a plan, not a promise. Cross-check late returns on the orders list.
