Rental history

Seeing everything one customer has rented. Today that lives on the Orders list, filtered by customer.

Where to find it

The customer record itself doesn't show a rental history yet. To see everything one customer has rented, use the Orders list:

1. Go to Orders.

2. In Filter by customer…, start typing their name. Matches appear in a dropdown with their phone number, so you can tell two Smiths apart.

3. Pick them. Their name becomes a pill on the filter bar and the table narrows to their orders.

The status tabs still work on top of the filter, so you can look at just their Booked orders, or just what's Held right now. The date range filter narrows it further.

Click the × on the pill to clear the customer filter.

What you see

Every order for that customer: number, dates, quantity, status, confidence, and hold expiry. Click through to any of them for the full record: line items, addresses, notes, and its availability panel.

Long histories page rather than scroll forever; Load more pulls the next page.

Reading a customer before you commit

This is the practical use. Before you promise a hundred totes to someone, filter to their history and look at what actually happened last time: did they book what they held, did the totes come back, how often did an order change after it was confirmed.

For tote-level detail, such as what condition their last load came back in, go through the order to the totes and read their history. See Tote history.

What's not here yet

There's no lifetime-value figure, no rental-count badge on the customer record, and no per-customer report. Reporting and export are on the roadmap.
